Our officiant, the wonderful Maria Northcott snapped this photo of us while we sailed around Casco Bay. I can’t wait to share all the details with you that were documented by the very talented Alexandra Roberts. I am so happy to be married to the wonderful and very dapper Matt Jones.

frames and albums for instax photos
I received a fuji instax mini camera a few years ago for christmas and I just love it. It reminds me of the polaroids I grew up with, just in a much smaller version, they are a little bigger than a business card. I love taking photos with it because you can’t really frame a shot very well so the final photo is a bit of a surprise which is so much fun, however I have not been able to find a place, other than the fridge to display these little slices of life. That is of course until today.
Mochithings is a company based in seattle that has a huge variety of display ideas for your instax photos. They have a wide variety of frames and albums that are made just for these tiny photos. My favorites are the small desk frames that easily allow you to swap out a shot and these pastel albums that store up to 64 photos! I just ordered some more film, and a storage box and can’t wait to bring out the camera more often! Say cheese!

Geodesic Gorgeousness
I’ve been getting rather sentimental the past few weeks. Maybe it’s because I am getting married in just 6 weeks but most likely it is because of our honeymoon destination. At this point if Matt was in the room he would cover my mouth and tell me to stop calling it a honeymoon, it’s just a trip we are taking the day after the wedding, it is not a honeymoon.
Where are we going? Well maybe this weeks’s finds will help clue you in. These beautiful planters, hand soldered and cut my the talent at Score + Solder are just too pretty for words. While I am not so great at taking care of suculents, I think some little pansies or violets would look stunning in these works or art, hang them inside or on the porch and liven up any space.

Nature Etchings by Marina Terauds
I love finding new amazing artists by complete accident. Today I was google-image-hunting (its a thing) for a transit map of Walt Disney World, and I found a really great one on wolfstad’s flickr stream. So then I decided to check out what other cool things they might have pictures of, and I stumbled upon a few shots taken at a craft show and there was one print that was just beautiful I had to know who it was by. Luckily this wonderful flick user had a pretty hi-res version of the photo so I could see the title of the work and the artists’ signature. After a quick pop into google, I found Marina Teraud! I am just in love with her nature and bird etchings and so happy I found them while looking for a Disney map! Thanks Wolfstad you have great taste in art!

While most of the pieces are in place for our wedding, I have been dragging my feet choosing a hair accessory, they are all just so fantastic and unique I just can’t decide. So I rounded up my 10 favorite looks for brides and bridesmaids alike. Enjoy!

Trivia time in the kitchen. New Tea Towels.
When I first designed the 50 State Creatures Tea Towel I knew I had to make a companion piece featuring 50 state trees and flowers. I assigned each state either their state Tree or Flower and then got drawing. After a few rounds of design, making sure each silhouette fit in with the others on the page, I found a couple flowers that I decided to redraw. I absouletly love how the final design came out, and I hope you do too!

I do have a charger for that
It seems like every device I have now takes a different kind of charger, between the iphone, kindle, and 3 cameras I feel like I am always digging to find the right charger. Then today I found this mini USB charger kit from incase. Color coded cables in a little travel case make the perfect way to stay organized. And for only $25 it won’t break the bank.
