I WISH I WAS IN kup kup land

I love everything kup kup does. It makes me dream of being a kid and all the wonderful things you can imagine making out of little pieces of felt. Fun little brooches, fantastic pin cushions, and so much more from the land of kup kup. Looking at her shop always brightens my day, especially when its raining, I mean how can you possibly feel down when rain clouds look this cute. I wish I spent more time reaching back in time and exploring the things I used to love crafting with as a kid, maybe something this wonderful might come to life.

CUTE CARDIGANS for spring

It’s about time for me to dig through my closet and find my staple spring cardigan. Its nothing fancy, just light brown with little white polka-dots, I always joke that it’s my lucky sweater because nothing bad seems to happen when I wear it. I’ve been poking around looking for a new soon to be lucky cardigan and came across Hide and seek clothing. I really like their Grow to love cardigan, it reminds me of a dali painting with the elephants and the skinny stilt legs. I poked around their shop for a bit and i really like their entire line, especially their owl hoodie. Everything is printed on American Apparel so remember girls, they do run a bit small.

EARNING YOUR MERIT badges

I admit it, I was a girl scout. Well technically speaking, I was a daisy, then a brownie, then a Junior (up until 7th grade when there was no other troop to join). Hey what can I say i liked hanging out with nerdy girls and making crafts, I was not in it for the cookie selling. I guess thats why I love the idea of a modern merit badge, and no one does them better then Lee Meszaros. She offers badges for everything from being drunk as a skunk, sharp as a tack, even taking the cake. My personal favorite is the birds of a feather badge, which would be a great twist on those best friend heart necklaces everyone had back in 8th grade. Now you can relive your scouting days, without having to bring the snack.
