You may remember last year when I posted about these amazing designer wood toys called Pecanpals. I got myself one of the all wood versions of Jac-Jac before they sold out.

Love these two completely different ampersands from Veer and House Industries, respectfully. The ampersand on the left is a lovely wood brooch and the one on the right is a iron bookend. I wouldn’t mind having either one of these graphic design themed lovelies.

I love this concept design by Gonglue Jiang. As laptops get smaller we also lose the number of USB ports. I know that I have to unplug my cooling pad to plug in my camera, but perhaps those day would be over with the Infinite USB ports. The daisy-chain idea is a very interesting concept, and could power a few devices when the first usb device was an exertanl power supply. The only flaw I see is the stress that would happen without proper support on the chain of ports. This could eventually damage the internal motherboard. But I love this idea!

I’m so amazed when people just completely redesign the way we look at something. When you think clock you either see in your mind digital flashing numbers, or a circle with two or three long sticks that rotate around the circle. If you want to be different and extraordinary you need an Aspiral clock handmade by the designers Bespoke in London. These spiral based clocks contain a single ball that tells the time while the spiral encasement rotates throughout the day. It really is cool to watch, so jump over to their site and check out the video!

Love these laptop cases from Twelve South. Such a classic look for a very modern machine. Best of all they look pretty darn padded in case you are anthing like me and a little rough on hi-tech devices.

Check out this prototype for a built in wall extension cord, the rambler socket. A great concept designed by Meysam Movahedi. Reminds me a little of the wrap around hose caddy we used to have in the backyard. I really just love this idea, simple and uncluttered.

Basheer Books in Jakarta, in conjunction with Pantone developed a site specific rainbow of pantone chips. It’s a pretty cool way to show the value of Pantone books as well as get people talking. After all what would we  do without the world of pantone?
